JapanOps StudioTalk to Kohey

Make your app easier to discover and start using in Japanese.

Clear store copy should lead to a clear first experience. Kohey prepares Japanese changes for your listing, screenshots and first-use screens. Your team adds them to the app, then JapanOps checks the preview and test build.

Start with one clear taskfixed quote before payment

The project is complete after your team adds the changes and JapanOps checks the agreed preview and test build.

One continuous decision path, reviewed in Japanese.

The details that make people hesitate.

These are the kinds of things we look for when reading the page and following the next step in Japanese.

  1. 01

    Japanese is declared, not delivered

The language metadata says Japanese while the description or first-use experience remains English.

  2. 02

    The store promise overreaches

Screenshots or copy suggest a Japanese experience that the first-open path does not support.

  3. 03

    Permissions lack context

The user is asked for access before understanding why it is needed or what happens next.

  4. 04

    Upgrade value is unclear

Trial, subscription or upgrade copy is present but difficult to compare in Japanese.

Here’s what we can work on.

We agree the pages, changes, preview and delivery date in writing. You know what you are paying for before work begins.

Standalone review-only option

USD 250 review—complete on its own.

The existing fixed review remains available. It delivers the named findings, annotations and ready-to-use rewrites without implementation; a later completion project requires a separate quote.

Review → Fix → Verify

You review the proposed changes, we check them in the agreed preview, and your team decides when to publish.

  1. 01

    Review

We agree the work, what your team will need to provide, the price and the date before payment. The starting scope: one Japan App Store or Google Play listing plus one agreed first-open path through the first meaningful action.

  2. 02

    Fix

An approved metadata, screenshot-text and in-scope first-use string change set supplied for client integration, followed by JapanOps QA of the returned listing draft and build.

  3. 03

    Verify

The written scope names the store, listing preview, OS, device class, app version, build number, orientation and locale. Kohey checks that the agreed changes appear correctly and have not caused obvious problems. The project includes one QA correction pass before your team decides when to publish.

Your point of contact

Kohey Nishi / Nishikun

The person behind JapanOps. I use AI to help with research and drafts, and take responsibility for the final Japanese review.

Meet Kohey

Before we get started.

When is an app project completed?

After your team integrates the approved change set and JapanOps verifies the returned listing preview and named test build. Sending the copy is one step; the final check happens after your team adds it.

Will JapanOps use App Store Connect or publish the build?

No. Your team controls developer consoles, submission and release. JapanOps prepares the change set and verifies the returned non-public surfaces.

Does QA enter a paywall or start a subscription?

No. Any included upgrade prompt is view-only and QA stops before authentication, subscription selection, payment or purchase.

Tell me about your app and its Japanese users.

Send the listing and what you want to improve. For an in-app review, we’ll agree the test build and devices along with the work, quote and timing.
