JapanOps StudioTalk to Kohey

Help Japanese customers feel ready to buy.

Product copy, shipping details and returns information need to make sense together. Kohey improves the Japanese and checks the agreed changes in a store preview, from product page to cart.

Start with one clear taskfixed quote before payment

The path stops before payment. Publication, orders, customer data and live commerce settings remain under client control.

One continuous decision path, reviewed in Japanese.

The details that make people hesitate.

These are the kinds of things we look for when reading the page and following the next step in Japanese.

  1. 01

    JPY with English decisions

The price is localized while the product promise or buying guidance remains in English.

  2. 02

    Shipping context is split

Japan delivery terms sit away from the page where the buyer decides to purchase.

  3. 03

    Duties appear too late

Fees and responsibility are unclear until the buyer is already committed to checkout.

  4. 04

    Local fields feel imported

Address, phone, name and measurement guidance do not match Japanese expectations.

Here’s what we can work on.

We agree the pages, changes, preview and delivery date in writing. You know what you are paying for before work begins.

Review → Fix → Verify

You review the proposed changes, we check them in the agreed preview, and your team decides when to publish.

  1. 01

    Review

We agree the work, what your team will need to provide, the price and the date before payment. The starting scope: one agreed product-to-cart path plus the linked shipping, duties and returns information needed before payment.

  2. 02

    Fix

Approved product copy, buyer-decision content and safely editable cart text applied to an unpublished theme, CMS draft or client-returned preview.

  3. 03

    Verify

The written scope names the theme or preview, browsers, viewports, country, locale, currency and storefront context included in QA. Kohey checks that the agreed changes appear correctly and have not caused obvious problems. The project includes one QA correction pass before your team decides when to publish.

Your point of contact

Kohey Nishi / Nishikun

The person behind JapanOps. I use AI to help with research and drafts, and take responsibility for the final Japanese review.

Meet Kohey

Before we get started.

Do you need access to our live store?

No. Direct work uses a duplicate or unpublished theme or CMS draft with least privilege. Your team can also integrate the approved changes and return a preview for QA.

Will JapanOps place a test order?

No. Completion stops before payment and does not create an account, submit customer data or place an order.

What if another team edits the theme during QA?

QA covers the named preview against the approved JapanOps change set. Other changes are flagged but are not automatically added to the original scope.

Show me the product page you want to improve.

Send the URL and tell me what your Japanese customers need to understand. We’ll agree the pages, preview, quote and timing before payment; no checkout payment is made during the review.
